Mr. Yang Tengbo (Chris) is the CEO and founder of Newland UK Limited – a leading British based business consultancy specialising in Sino-UK communications. Mr Yang spends his time between London and Beijing offices directing both teams in their efforts to promote business and cultural relations between China and the UK, enjoying a great deal of admiration from the industry. He has a great deal of experience in managing Chinese government relationships and is responsible for the company’s relationships with the central government in China and the Chinese embassy in the UK.

Yang Tengbo and Newland UK have built up key business and political relations both in China and the UK since the company’s inception three years ago. The company has accumulated a number of large Chinese corporate and government clients with serious interests in investing in London and more specifically with interests in London 2012.

Tengbo previously working in provincial government for 7 years in China working in a senior position and following that worked for a year in the State Council in Beijing. During his time in government he accumulated invaluable experience and networks while gained an excellent grasp of the workings of the Chinese system.

In 2005 Tengbo came to the UK to further his studies at the University of York where he studied Public Administration and Public Policy. On graduating Mr Yang joined a British company as CEO before founding Newland UK.
