Registration


How do I register offline?

We recommend to complete the registration process online to ensure we get your correct details into our system. At the end of the registration process, you can choose to pay online by credit card or Paypal, or by alternative payment means such as cheque (in GBP) or electronic bank transfer.

 

Payment offline means we send you an invoice with the detailed payment instructions. You will have 15 working days to complete the payment, after which time we will erase your registration details from the system. If you miss the payment deadline you will have to register again.

 

If you cannot register yourself online, please send an email to us or call the customer service line. Contact details can be found here.

What payment methods do you accept?

The online registration system accepts major credit cards or Google Checkout. If you are paying by credit card, select 'Google Checkout' to complete the secure payment process. 

 

We also accept:

- Electronic bank transfer (BACS). An invoice will be emailed to you upon request with our bank account details.

Is payment secure online?

The payment system uses secure payment gateway by Google Checkout and Paypal and uses security number verification.

 

Is VAT included in the delegate price?

The price excludes a booking fee which is added to the total online. VAT (Value Added Tax) is charged for EU and UK companies that require an invoice. They must pay by cheque or electronic bank transfer.

 

Can I register for more than one person?

You can register up to 4 persons at the standard delegate rate (early bird rate before 12 October 2008). If you are registering 5 or more persons, please email us to request a group rate which is further discounted. If you have special questions about your group booking please contact us.

 

What happens if I cancel or do not show up?

We charge a £20.00 cancellation fee.

Full charge after 15 October, unless delegate is replaced or place subsequently sold.

 

How do I get into the World Travel Market?

WTM is a trade-only event. This means that pre-registration is required via the WTM website. When you register for the forum, you can advise us if you need help in obtaining a WTM entrance badge and we will send you further details. You can also visit the WTM website and complete the free registration form.

 

I am a student/academic/charity - is there a discount?

We do not offer a concession but will consider your request on a case-by-case basis for a limited number of student tickets. Please write to us with your inquiry.

 

I could not complete the registration process because of technical error, what should I do?

If we have logged your details, we can retrieve them to avoid you having to re-input all the details, Simply email us with details of the problem.

What is included in the networking lunch?

Joining the lunch is an excellent opportunity to network with the speakers, other delegates and the Chinese travel delegation which includes about 20 travel professionals and travel trade journalists.

You will also enjoy high quality, authentic Chinese cuisine and learn some tips about Chinese food etiquette.

 

Can I arrange meetings with the Chinese travel agents in advance?

We provide targeted business matching for our sponsors, with sponsorship packages starting at £600.00.

 

All delegates can make contact with each other through the exclusive Private Network and arrange to meet during WTM.

If you are a member of Visit London, UKinbound, PATA, Visit Scotland or CBBC, you should have received communication from these organisations with details of your discount and the discount code to enter during registration. Please contact your respective organisation to ask for this if you have not received any information or email us with your membership number or supporting data.

 

Are there other benefits to members of the supporting organisations?
